The Sparta Recreation Authority
Millage Proposal is...
the proposal on the November 6th ballot that needs your help. We have done the research and laid the groundwork. We have confidence that the timing is right to make the vision a reality. Now is time for the community of Sparta to show support and vote yes on the millage for phase 1 of our new recreation park and sports facility.

The ballot proposal is 1.00 mill for only five years to help fund the rest of the phase 1 portion. Phase 1 completion will give all of our youth sports organizations what they need to continue their programs; it will give residents a park for leisure activities and local businesses a great boost in their business growth. We have dedicated ourselves as residents, youth leaders, business owners and parents to raising the rest of the funds to complete future phases of the park.

What does this mean to you?
($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) on all taxable property for a period of only five (5) years, 2012 through 2016.
